You may have heard Police Authorities hitting the headlines recently, yet many people have very little understanding about what a Police Authority is, as opposed to a Police Force.
The Lincolnshire Police Authority website, which was re-launched earlier this year, has lots of information about what Police Authorities do, and why they do it, as well as having a selection of interesting videos, a chance to set the Police budget, and even offers you the chance to read papers from the various Authority meetings.
